For prospective members new to target shooting, we run a structured approach to introduce the sport. A Taster Event, Induction Session and .22 Prone Rifle session.
Once you have successfully completed the necessary “courses” probationary membership of the clubcan be processed. (see above for course and membership fees).
All prospective members and/or guest of members are welcome to visit the club and take part in supervised sessions, a maximum of three visits before deciding whether or not to join our club. These visits to the club are prior to any “courses” we deem necessary.
To progress to full membership, you will need to be able to demonstrate that you are safe to be on a range and that you have made a minimum of six attendances during your six-month probationary period.
Applicants under 14 are welcome but only permitted to shoot benchrest and/or 10m air rifle, providing a parent or guardian remain with them at all times and may be required to assist in their supervision.
The Club provides basic equipment for newcomers but as they progress most shooters realise the benefits of investing in their own equipment, and this is something for which we always provide guidance. There are no storage facilities at the club for members to use.
The Club is run by the members for the members. In accepting membership you will be expected, from time to time, to take part in both the running of the Club and maintenance of the facilities.
